Birds of a Feather

Today is a BEAUTIFUL day in the 'Burgh! The boys and I have been playing outside since 10 am and have been enjoying every second of the sunshine (armed with our SPF 10,000 of course!). We took a little walk down our street and I was amazed at what came out of my little Liam's mouth.

Liam: "Look Mommy!!! There are two robins over there in the grass. And look... there's a BJ!"

Me: "A what?!?!"

Liam: "A blue jay!!!"

Loved Liam's nickname for the blue jay! :) But joking aside, I was SO impressed that he knew the names of those birds. I wish that I could take credit for that, but I have to believe that a little friend of ours by the name of Diego is the real teacher here.

Liam, you never cease to amaze me! You are smart beyond your three young years. The amount of information you store in that little noggin of yours is mind blowing. Keep learning, growing, and smiling! I love you little man! :)

Rain, Rain Go Away

Lately, the boys and I have been singing "Rain, Rain Go Away" or "If All The Raindrops" just about every morning. These poor boys are finally at a great age to get outside and play around and it's been raining for what seems like weeks and weeks. :( With a break in the rain a couple days last week and now today, we're back outside and getting dirty... in a way only little boys can!

If these boys aren't throwing rocks and pine cones, their putting anything from sticks to dirt in their mouths. I wonder what goes through their heads when they consider putting all of this gross stuff in their mouths?!?! Oh well, it's a great immunity booster I guess! :) Landon's currently obsessed with the toy lawn mower and throws a massive fit that can be heard three counties away if he doesn't have it. Liam is learning to do jumps and tricks on his Razor scooter. He's actually really good which is fun and scary all at the same time. Little Gabey Goo is monkey see, monkey do with his big brother Liam. At the ripe old age of nearly two, Gabe can ride a Razor scooter with ease. Lord help me know! Liam and Gabe have also mastered skateboard louge... it might be at the next Olympic games! They lay on their backs or tummy's and launch themselves down the driveway or street. And they're only three and two (in July)! I'm dreading the wild and crazy things these boys will be doing in a few years! :)

"Back away from the lawn mower and no body gets hurt!" ~ Landon and his mower.

Throwing back a cold one... a Capri Sun that is!

This past weekend we celebrated our oldest niece Madison's First Holy Communion. It was a great day weather wise for Miss Madison's big day. She looked SOOOOOOOOO cute in her veil and dress. :) Congratulations Maddie!!! We are so proud of you and love you very much!

Hello Blog World!!!

So, I've finally done it and created a blog! I've been thinking about doing this since Gabe and Landon were born nearly two years ago... procrastinate much?!?! Now, thanks to the help of Toy Story and a nap from Liam, here I am!

It's hard to believe that Liam is three and Gabe and Landon are nearly two years old already. I look back on their short little lives and have so many great memories. Hopefully this blog will help me to capture everything from funny sayings the boys have, our favorite things to do at any particular time, special outings we may take, and even family vacations (our first is just a few months away!!!). Since I have totally fallen off the wagon with Gabe and Landon's baby books, I'm hoping to make up for it with this blog. One day when the boys are old (and probably changing my diapers), they can look at the memories, pictures, and stories I've captured here and remind them of fun times they had going on adventures in the woods, planting our garden, or just being silly.

With three fun, crazy, and energetic little men, I can only imagine the memories that this blog will hold in the future.
